Jiahui, Provide More Care

医院（Hospital）一词来自于拉丁文，原意为“客人”，是供人避难，使来者舒适，有招待之意。后来才逐渐成为满足人类医疗需求，提供医疗服务的专业机构。

The word 'hospital' is derived from Latin and originally meant 'guest', to whom it offered refuge, comfort and hospitality.  Later, it gradually became a professional institution that took care of people’s needs and provided medical services.

嘉会始终致力于提供以患者为中心的国际标准医疗，给予患者“身心照料”与“全然关怀”，使患者整体就医体验变得轻松愉悦。

Jiahui strives to provide patient-centred healthcare in accordance with international standards to make the healthcare journey relaxing and enjoyable.

一直以来嘉会收到来自社会各界的热情呼吁，许多人向往着加入嘉会的大家庭，所以我们希望能够搭建一个平台，让更多人了解、接触并走进嘉会医疗，并以此传播爱与关怀，让患者获益更多。

We have received many responses from people from all walks of life who would like to know more about Jiahui. At the same time, Jiahui would also like to set up a learning platform so that more people can understand, learn, and thus spread love and care, bringing greater benefits to patients.

现在，上海嘉会国际医院志愿者项目正式成立，我们将根据志愿者的才能、兴趣以及空闲时间，为他们分配合适的志愿者岗位。

Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital has recently launched a volunteer project with the aim of offering different types of volunteer services, depending on your talents, interests and availability of volunteer time.

Perhaps you have always had a desire to experience medical work. Maybe you want to help others or just return the kindness you have been shown. Is it a lifelong dream you want to achieve? Whatever the reason, Jiahui welcomes your participation to build a diverse healthcare community together.

志愿者可以贡献什么？

How will I be able to contribute as a volunteer?

我们将根据志愿者的兴趣，才能以及空闲时间为他们分配合适的志愿者岗位。我们的专业团队会提供志愿者的上岗培训。在你的志愿服务期间，我们也会为你安排专门的指导老师，帮助你进入角色，融入嘉会。

We will assign you an appropriate volunteer service based on your interests, talents, and available time. In addition, volunteers receive training before they begin their service. During your time with us, you will be assigned mentors who will support you in your role.

在您申请志愿者服务前，也需要请您知晓

Before you apply volunteer program, Please kindly know 

1.对于医疗机构来说，患者的隐私保护至关重要。请您将可能直接或间接获得的有关患者、医生或工作人员的所有信息视为绝对机密，并且不寻求从患者或任何工作人员那里获得机密信息。

1. Protecting the privacy of its patients is of great importance to Jiahui. Please keep all information about patients, physicians, and medical professionals that you learn about, directly or indirectly, strictly confidential. Do not attempt to obtain confidential information from patients or healthcare professionals.

2.作为嘉会的一员，我们也需要您以准时严谨的方式对待志愿者工作；并时刻考虑他人的感受，以礼貌，坦诚待人，在工作中展现专业质量。

2. As a member of Jiahui, please show up for work on time, conduct yourself with dignity and courtesy, show consideration for others, and strive to maintain a high level of professional excellence.

• 16岁及以上 
  At least aged 16
• 对医疗感兴趣 
  An interest in healthcare
• 有爱心，乐于助人 
  Caring and willing to help others
• 无犯罪记录 
  No criminal record

● 临床活动 Clinical activities

• 住院病人临床陪伴

  Some volunteers will provide clinical companionship for hospitalized patients.

陪伴长期住院的儿童画一幅蜡笔画，陪伴临终关怀的老人回忆当年。你的陪伴会令住院部增加一抹色彩。

Guide children in long-term hospitalization to draw pictures with crayons.  Have conversations with seniors to bring back their memories of the past.  Your companionship will bring joy to our In-patient Department.

• 疫苗接种日支持

  Patient Liaison on Vaccination Day

新冠疫苗与流感疫苗的接种是防止病毒传染与推广公共卫生的方式之一。参与到疫苗接种支持，为抗击病毒尽一份力。

COVID -19 and influenza vaccinations are one of the ways to prevent viral infections and promote public health. We urge you to participate in activities that support vaccination and contribute to the fight against viruses.

嘉会会不定期在医院内部举办各种医疗活动以及健康普及活动。

Jiahui will from time to time conduct various health prevention and education activities within the hospital.

• 日常急救及心肺复苏、自动体外除颤器使用培训（3小时）并在通过培训后颁发由嘉会医疗认证的课程证书 

  3 hour CPR & AED training, with Jiahui Health certification

● 当您服务小时数超过200小时/年，您可额外获得

• 嘉会医疗首席医疗官推荐信 

  Letter of recommendation from the Chief Medical Officer of Jiahui Health

• 拯救心脏、急救、心肺复苏、自动体外除颤器课程 (8小时)

  并在通过培训后颁发由美国心脏协会认证的“Heartsaver 急救心肺复苏AED课程证书” 

  8 hour HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED, with American Heart

  Association certificate

面试 Interview

如果有合适的志愿者职位，我们会与你取得联系并安排面试。

If a suitable volunteer position is available, we will contact you to arrange and conduct your volunteer interview.

入职手续 Volunteer’s onboarding

如果你通过面试，我们会通知你办理入职手续，并完成必要的健康检查。

If you pass the volunteer interview and meet the requirements for service, we will inform you to complete and sign the Volunteer Personal Information Form and undergo the required medical examination.

培训 Training

我们会在你开始志愿者服务前安排上岗培训，帮助你更快的融入角色。
